Fir Cones

Having found some very large fir cones, I was busy deciding what to do with them....

when a certain lurcher called William came up to see what I was doing.

Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough with my camera to capture the expression on his face as he looked at these weird objects

...so instead I did a quick sketch, hopefully capturing that look....

he wasn't sure if it was going to move

One of those hilarious moments!

Oh my... these are quite big fir-cones... probably I would have had the same reaction with your adorable lurcher :) And, who needs camera when brushes can describe so well!! I can actually see the reaction, Ann :)
Warm regards.
Ps. Regarding the tests and hospitals everything went well, thank you for asking Ann!

These are great. I know someone who gets the little ones and they look something like tiny roses, so she makes displays with those, but the possibilities are endless. Have fun :)

Hi Konstantina, good to know your hospital appointment went okay :)

Hi Kyla, sounds very creative to put the small cones together like that, bet they look lovely. I'm still trying to decide what to do with mine.

I've never seen such large ones, they look like pineapples! My look is exactly like William's! :)

With Hurricane Sandy knocking out our power for a few days I wasn't able to get on the computer. I love coming and catching up on what I've missed. You have been busy!!!

That is brilliant. Such a puzzled expression on William`s face!

You're right Judy, they do look like pineapples - we couldn't believe it when we came across them.
