He is playful, in fact we think he must be fitted with a Duracel battery sometimes, he just keeps going and going....

Hamish looks like he's full of fun! And trouble!
Went to the panto yesterday.... Snow White. So funny. The little boys loved it. Blog about it soon!

ann @ studiohyde said...

...He is annie, well most of the time.lol. yes, he belongs to our daughter Lil, who incidentally has just started a blog for her horse, April on

www.pinkhorsestudio.blogspot.co.uk

(I know, the name is very like Robin's, however, I have checked that Robin doesn't mind and she is fine with it. Such is the power of having such a great blogging friend).

ann @ studiohyde said...

You are so right Shammickite...Hamish is fun and trouble rolled into one! The Panto sounds like it was a great success. I quite like Panto's myself but don't get to them these days:( Looking forward to your post about Snow White.

What wonderful sketches Ann. I like your lovely loose style and these bring back memories of when my dogs were this age. Love them!

ann @ studiohyde said...

Thank you John. Hamish, when he visits, and William make such great subjects, especially when I'm searching for something to draw :)

These little paintings are so, so cute...and remind me of the illustrations in a vintage children's book I received for Christmas. The book is called 'What Do You Think?' and the author/illustrator is Rainey Bennett. If you have an opportunity to search for his work, I think you might like it. :)

Wishing you all the best in 2013, Ann! Thank you for always being such a friend to our blog.

ann @ studiohyde said...

Thank you so much, nice that you like my sketches. I haven't heard of Rainey Bennett but will look up the name and
Have a read. Happy New Year to all of you and hope 2013 will be very good to you.
