Painting has always made me happy. Enjoying being Volunteer Artist-in-Residence at Arlington Court National Trust Devon
He or she's adorable
I know. I wouldn't say I'm an owl person, but seeing this one, well it was quite special.
It IS adorable. What fun to see. I have yet to see an owl in person.. well in the wild that is.
..it was like meeting in person. I've been told it's a Tawny Owl, but whatever, it was nice to see :)
wow!! what a beauty!!
It was quite a surprise, seeing it in the 'daytime' in the tree.
Great find! Lovely.
Every time I go over to Arlington I'll be looking for it now, lol.
Adorable! That’s one heck of a zoom! (I’m already contemplating a new camera! LOL Maybe I’ll get lucky and drop this one!)
It is adorable Robin!...I probably don't use this camera to its full potential, but so long as I get shots like this I'm happy :)
WOW! great pictures!
Thanks annie! I guess there aren't too many owls where you are...well, at the moment that is, lol :)
Beautiful! Nice that you can zoom right in!A neighbour told us there are owls on a nearby industrial estate. As we don't walk Annie there, I am determined to go soon and see for myself.
Hi Ann, I've just found some-ones youtube video but it's over a year old (I live in Kinmel Bay). Yes, this is on our industrial estate, I hope I am lucky enough to see the owls flying one day!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcSe3EjSBuE&feature=youtu.be
Hi Eileen, Thanks for the link. Wish I could have got a video of the Arlington one like that. It did fly off, but went the other side of the trees, so no chance with the camera.
Almost invisible, good to spot him/her, Ann! Yes, cute!
Yes, very difficult to see Judy.
Lucky you - so, so beautiful - I feel some of your art work coming on!
Yes, more than likely Gilli :)
