a look at some of my favourite pens...

I've loads of different pens, but there are some that I use a lot.  They include these

the V5

the Uni-ball eye

and occasionally, when I need a brown/sepia look I use this Faber-Castell PITT pen

but how do they perform, bearing in mind that I add watercolours sometimes.  Getting a pen that doesn't Run Everywhere is essential.

That can also work in my favour though, like sketching William, the ink runs perfectly in the V5.  Here's a little chart....

and my notes here on how I found them

Hi Ann.
Thank you for this wonderful insite to the pens that you use, very informative, Thanks. Ann, I can`t seem to get to Sketching William whome I love your drawings of him. It seems that I have`to join up with facebook, and I don`t want to do that. Any ideas Ann?

Worry not Vic...you must have clicked on the Facebook icon of sketching william instead of his Blog...I've moved Sketching William blog further up, so you should find it now. Really nice to know you enjoy seeing my drawings of him :)

I recently bought a set of four Faber Castell Pitt pens, sepia colour, different sizes. Nice to see one of those here. Haven't used them yet. Thanks for sharing your tools of the trade!

I didn't know the Pitt pen came in brown. I will have to look for it. I use the black. Fun seeing your tools of the trade. :)
