Walk

The other day we took a wander along the Tarka line.  A former railway line now used by walkers and cyclists.

There seemed to be some ominous black smoke in the distance...we never found out what that was about..

this is the estuary looking towards Barnstaple...

so pleased I have a good zoom on my camera...from this spot I zoomed towards the bridge

Nice walk. Your clouds look like they are dangling from strings. :)

I know Cris, I thought those clouds looked pretend...if I put them like that into a painting, they would seem wrong, but in a photo they're accepted aren't they, lol.

Any time Robin :)

So much to choose from sometimes Jane. If you would like to use any of them for yourself then please do so.

Glad to share some scenery with you Judy....I'll do a video another time :)

What a lovely place for a walk. We have a bike/walking path, but it goes under a major highway and alongside train tracks. Not the prettiest of sceneries.

Hi CJ, these walks certainly do vary, even in the UK, not all run alongside an estuary :)

It is a lovely walk Joan, and it goes right into the town in the distance too.

Thanks Mary - we really enjoyed this walk :)

I used to go to and from boarding school riding the steam trains from Ilfracombe to Exeter along that railway line.
