Not quite Wordless....Wednesday!

Time to sort those Decorations out - and start wrapping presents....Oh no! the wrapping is a job I so do not enjoy....

1.  the sticky tape seems to double itself up before I can attach it to the paper.

2.  I can never measure the paper properly and end up with a huge bunch of paper at the ends...

okay I could cut that back and make it less bunched....then I end up taking too much off and having to start again.

3.  I wrap something and forget what it was and have to unwrap it to check!

4.  The only sensible solution by then is to pour a glass of wine....

 ~ Cheers Everyone ~

It would be a good start Laura, lol :)

Before would probably help Sue :)

Wine will make you forget the wrapping woes. I wrap things ahead of time leaving off bows so I can stack in a closet. I'll write who/what in the bottom corner of the package. When it's time to attach ribbons and stuff, I wrote a To/From label and attach it over my pencil marks.

Hahahaha I love your post!
Just taking a break from wrapping presents myself.
I think I'll have a glass of wine instead of wrapping any more :-)

I LOVE wrapping gifts! Coming up with interesting and different ways to do it. I used to have an annual ritual…. I'd set up a table in front of TV, gather all my supplies and gifts, pop 'Holiday Inn' into the DVD player (okay, it was a VCR) and have a grand time! If I were closer I’d offer to do it for you.

Ciao Ann,
Ciao, abbracci, Floriana

My solution to the wrapping problem is to go to the dollar store and buy Christmas gift bags and tissue paper, so much easier than wrapping prezzies and the bags can be recycled for next year. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying the glass of wine at the same time!
You have just reminded me, better get those christmas cards written.

Ah the joys of wrapping... I normally am so disorganised it gets done on Christmas eve in a panic, I often run out of paper and sellotape! I'm ashamed to admit there has been more than one year when I've wrapped in tin foil (it doesn't need tape though!!) !
