A view in my sketchbook

...from our last trip away. We stopped near Helston in Cornwall and I sketched the view, which included this strange metal structure.  At first I thought it was to do with the local airfield (especially as there were helicopters buzzing around) but discovered it was part of an attraction at a theme park called Flambards!

  7. Flambards ! I remember visiting there when my children were small. It had a lovely victoriana street with little shops. I also read the Flambards books when I was young. Love your watercolour...happy memories.

  15. Gorgeous watercolour sketch Ann! I am head over heels in love with William and he has the same name as my husband and son. It was also the name of my father-in -law. Gotta luv him in his teepee picture, so cute!
