Summerhouse time...

It rained off and on all day yesterday, so today with the sun shining we decided to get out in the

garden and enjoy the summerhouse...

and a great opportunity for me to take my paints and sketchbook out there -

  ~   an impromptu outdoor studio....ahhhhh  bliss  ~

here's the view from inside looking out...

Love your little summer house. It looks so cozy and comfy. What is the view you see from the open doors?

Hi CJ, I've added a picture of the view looking out. Still waiting for more flowers to add some extra colour to all that green :-)

It's a nice space Sue, especially when the sun is shining :-)

Love your summer house. Nice you can sketch out there so its your summer house/studio. :)) I have a pallet like yours.. well its almost exact. I just got it recently. just has one more row on the side for paint. Look forward to seeing some flowers.

Just perfect! It keeps the paints from drying up in the sun, and from getting watered down if it's raining!
I like green plants in the garden.... I just planted a fern, some variegated hostas and some ornamental grasses.... all assorted shades of green.

I really like this palette Cris...it's really good for mixing and the sections hold a lot of tube paint. I work with it the way round you see in the photo, as I'm left-handed it's better that way round, most people use them the other way round (hope that makes sense) lol.

It's lovely, makes more use of the garden too, some days it would be much too windy or cold to sit outside, this way we get the best of both worlds :-)

It is perfect Shammickite. Like the sound of variegated hostas, in fact I like variegated plants generally.

We do enjoy the garden, not that we're gardeners as such, but the plants don't know that, lol ;)
