Baby pigeon

The pigeon that has nested above

our arbor (see blog post here)  has had one chick by the looks of it...

tried to take a photo of it

 so hope

you can see him top right of this photo...

His mum was sitting on the roof of our house
having a well deserved break at the time.

I think he does feel safe. Up above everything on the arbor. Grapes all around for when he is hungry too, lol.

One pigeon is lovely, especially a sweet baby. A whole flock..... well! I live near an outdoor market which sells all kinds of things including live pigeons destined for someone's dinner. Recently some kind soul has been buying the pigeons and setting them free.... and now we have a dozen pigeons on every roof! We have even had to take in the bird feeders to try to get rid of them. So be glad you only have one!

Now that does sound like a problem!! Although, we do have seagulls, can I interest you in them ;)

We have plenty of seagulls too, thank you for the offer!
