Firework night


We are still a couple of weeks away from
Firework Night.....

but the village have started building the bonfire.....it appears to be a stripey elephant this year!

It is. This is all about the Gunpowder Plot, when Guy Fawkes was caught attempting to blow up the House of Lords in 1605. He was not the only one caught.

They always put on a good display, looking forward to it.
