Welcome to my blog, where I add about Art and things - Enjoying being Volunteer Artist-in-Residence at Arlington Court National Trust Devon
looks like the perfect spot for a Gribble seat!! Very cute...and a little bit scary :)
....yes, just a little wacky I think...it almost freaked me out actually - but have to admit it does two jobs 1. a seat and 2. makes people talk about it, lol.
imagine that, amazing!
I know, I couldn't quite understand what it was for at first. Very pleased there was a notice board explaining it.
How fun is that! Another piece that needs to go into the statue relocation project.
A little different from the usual kind of statue isn't it, lol.
Definitely different Christine, lol :-)
Dear Ann - I have never heard of this place. How interesting as a smidgen daunting. So glad you shared. The isle of Wight - is it nearby where you live?
Hi Debbie....we used to live in Hampshire, it's on the mainland but we could see and visit the Isle of Wight easily. We went back recently for a holiday to the Isle of Wight...had a lovely time....here's a link to the Wikipedia info about the island...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isle_of_Wight
I love it! But it looks as though it might bite me in my bum. Lol
I thought that too Mary, lol ;)
hehehe there were people in CM called Gribble when I was growing up!
lol ...I hope they didn't look like this then ;)
Love it, though I'm glad it wasn't my bum in the wet cement :)
I don't think I could have sat in the wet cement either, lol ;)
What a fabulous idea for a seat! I really like it :-) x
They really came up with something completely different didn't they, and it makes people talk about it, like here, lol ;)
LOL....I think my initial reaction was ...."what the h*** is that!"
