Lack of subject

....but I still wanted to draw something.  Then I noticed my foot - so that's what I drew whilst

drinking my early morning cuppa!   Perhaps I'll draw the other foot tomorrow!

Surprisingly this sketch actually got me drawing today - a warm up sketch I guess, the rest of me just

needs to warm up now - Exercise bike here I come.

When the Young One took a drawing class, the Prof instituted MAHOD. Make a habit of drawing. Students kept a sketchbook and had to draw something each day. Prof didn't care what as long as there was a drawing.

Great subject! Always available :)

I think those were wise words from the Prof. It's surprising how observation and eye / hand co-ordination work together effortlessly when you give it a go :-)

Absolutely, I should consider this more often. Perhaps I'll try my hands next.

Try looking at your left hand, and drawing with your right hand without taking the pencil from the paper, and without looking at what you are drawing. Or in the case of lefthandedness, reverse the process, of course. Interesting project.

I tried that one time with a blind contour exercise, it came out surprisingly better than if I had looked at it whilst drawing! lol (and I would have to reverse it...I'm left-handed) ;)

Thanks Christine....It came out looking a younger foot than it really is, lol :-)
