Revisiting The Virtual Paintout

I haven't been a contributor to The Virtual Paintout for some time now, but decided to join in their location this month of Greenland.  It's useful having Google Street View to travel via and find places to paint.

Here's my painting of a blue house against a blue sky...

Beautiful, Ann! Those rocks are fabulous!

Thanks Judy, the rocks were quick and easy to do. Added three colours one on top of the other and then scrapped out =Rocks :-)

Thanks Christine, this captured me because it was all so blue, made a fun painting to do :-)

My favorite color. I like the color of your sky better. Much more vibrant than Google views

this is weird - i thought i commented on this the other day - ...it's beautiful and I wanted to say that i took a trip of our mountain and photographed a cabin in the snow that looks just like this almost. I think after seeing this, i might try one from my photograph. i love the way the blue pops. nice job.

Thanks Sandy, your photograph sounds ideal for a painting :-)

i came back to see your blue house - i think I'll try the blue house I mentioned today. If I have time that is! When and if I get it painted I'll post the photo just to show you how similar it is both in color and sitting up on a hill like this.

That sounds great Sandy. This painting has sort of inspired you then hasn't it, that is nice to know. take care :-)
