Another trip

This time we stayed in Rhayader (click link)  at the Brynafon Country House Hotel (click link)...in Wales...

Riverside walks nearby ~ local towns ~ mountain drives and great scenary,
although before I do one very long blog post about this trip,
I think it would be better to break it down into bite sized pieces....

Not before you see some of the wild flowers....

blossom...

a very unusual seat...(from railway stock...obviously the clue is the train printed on the back of the seat)....

to unusual gateways on the Elan Valley Trail....

a house with over sized chimneys ...

although, there was this cute little cottage with a history to it...

the plaque on the wall says about

then back to the Hotel....

More on this trip in the next post ~
I can't wait to share it with you.

The weather helped too CJ, although we did have a day that was overcast. Didn't matter though, we still got out and about :-)

It all looks so lovely. You are lucky to be able to travel to so many charming places. And William is lucky to be able to join you too. I'm off on a holiday next week, will try to put up some posts while I am away. Venice, Slovenia, Vienna, Prague, UK.... I'm getting excited. Will take my sketch book of course.
