An unusual Library

We came across something different, not totally unique (I have heard of these before in other places), but a great use for an old phone box...

You turn it into a

LIBRARY

We came across this on Dartmoor.

What a brilliant idea for locals and visitors to make use of
second-hand books

Clever way to upcycle. Too bad it wasn't a blue police box!

LOL...yes, it would have been much bigger inside wouldn't it! ;)

What a great idea. It would be such a shame to remove these red icons, and now they have a good new use. I love it!

How charming!

It would be sad to see them go, they are so well known and recognisable.

Yes, they tend to do quirky things around these parts. (If you have ever watched Doc Martin, then it shouldn't really surprise anyone, lol).

Dear Ann - what an amazing idea. This would certainly be a place I would stop. Hope you have a super week. Thanks for sharing this great find.

Great idea. I have seen a few of these little "libraries" popping up around. This one isn't so tiny!

Wow, what a brilliant idea! There is a phone box not too far from us that had been vandalised. I noticed the other day that a new handset had been put in. I did wonder though if the phone box ever gets used, although I do live in a retirement area :-)
