Across a toll road to the beach

The other day we had a nice walk next to the estuary, along a toll road (very cheap £2, well worth it) and down another road past fields.  Thought I would share some of the photos I took on my iPhone for you.....

the sheep in this next photo haven't actually escaped their field.  The whole area of the toll road is farmland too, so the sheep graze their way along it.

If anyone would like to use any of the photos in this post for drawing, painting, sketching, please go ahead and use them.

Beautiful scenery. Your photos would make great calendar pages.

What a lovely walk. Looks like the weather was changeable though looking at the sky. Do you know what the roundhouse was for Ann?

What a beautiful place for a meander, Ann.

I never thought of a calendar, now there's an idea :)

It was a peaceful walk too :)

They are for the animals and/or hay, straw or grain. The land around is all farmland, a lovely place and greatly ignored really. Most people head for the coast, but we really enjoyed our walk.

Ah Ann - you certainly live in such a lovely spot. Very generous of you to share your photos and allow us to use them for our own creative endeavors. I especially loved seeing the sheep in the foreground with a boat in the water. In some ways certain places remind me of here but this particular photo would not be something we would find here. Thanks again for sharing. Have a super day. Hugs!

It's a peaceful place to walk, and there's a slightly higher ridge like pathway along next to the estuary which gives a great view :)

I hope somebody will use the photos, would be great to know they have been useful :)

Have you used your Inktense blocks very much? And do they get used up fast? I am thinking of buying some.

All the best Jan

Yes, I use them fairly often. As they are an Ink, and are a vibrant colour, they are ideal for certain paintings. Once dry, I can also paint over them without that layer moving, it dries permanent. They do last a long time. I suggest starting with a small set of 12 initially to get the hang of them. :)
