You should be pleased! It's wonderful! (I have a hard time with stamp cutting too....it's backwards to me and I get mixed up about what to cut and what to leave.... :-/ lol.)
I get exactly the same. You sort of have to 'work it forwards' but 'work it out backwards'...... If that makes any sense. I did three pre-runs so I could see what was where, lol :)
I absolutely LOVE doing linocuts and I just led a workshop at my Art Group to teach it. It was only going to be one Thursday, but so many people wanted to continue that we did it for 4 Thursdays. And there were some really nice piees produced by people who had never tried it before.
I loved doing this and will be trying more of them. Plus, it's nice to have the prepared piece of lino ready for inking in the future, win win in my book :) Wish I could have transported myself to your workshop.

That illustration is wonderful I can almost feel that I am getting hit by the spray! Sarah x
Thanks Christine. Once I get my head around the lino piece to cut and not cut, I’ll be fine, lol
Thanks Sarah, I was surprised how it turned out. 🙂
