There's a beautiful rose garden at Mottisfont, I was there in June one year, spectacular!
Yes I know about the snow, I've been following the CM facebook page, Oh my, everyone is panicking, no milk, no bread, roads closed, can't get feed to the horses etc. Huge snowdrifts. It'll all be gone in a couple of days!

It would have been nice to have seen the rose garden in summer, perhaps one day we will make it there to see that. Yes, you are right about the snow, a complete panic. Honestly, the weathermen warned about it, so gave people plenty of chance to get in provisions. Now it has cleared albeit on Exmoor. I hear that Lynton and Lynmouth hills are tricky, so we won't be venturing that way for now!!
