Completed painting

Well, it was inevitable that I couldn't wait a couple of days to go back to the

Work In Progress

(I blame my paint brushes, they were Demanding attention)

Here's my completed scene

 Measures: 16 inches x 6 inches

and proved to be very difficult to photograph,

so I apologise for this not being completely in focus.

It is beautiful! Good for you on completing, many people seem to let things slide.

Thanks Eileen 🙂 ~ I loved the actual view I chose over at Arlington, wasn't completely sure it would work for this canvas. Such a long but narrow canvas as it is, but in the end I'm glad it worked out.

Thanks Christine. I kept seeing it on the easel looking at me, so I couldn't stop myself from finishing it, lol.

Thanks Sandy. Yes, there is nothing like painting on location, so much better than following a photograph. Although I have to be very aware it is a 'Painting' and not the actual scene, there is no competing with that perfection.
