Wall Art with a difference
We came across some different wall art the other day. This picture of a face was on a wall high up above the street on a building...
Not drawn or painted though, but Chipped out of the plaster work..
Very effective and striking.

Fishing Boat
There had to be a fishing boat if there were lobster/crab pots as with my previous post. I enjoy the wet into wet technique with Winsor & Newton plus some Daniel Smith watercolours mingling together.

Art Cards by Design
Sometimes a photograph will inspire me to paint it. So it was with surprise that I was contacted recently and asked, by another Artist, if I would give her permission to paint one of the photos I had added online.....
namely this one
and who asked to paint this...
ANNA DANIELLE FROM
THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED - Cards and Gifts
In view of the fact that Anna asked permission to paint this, I was more than happy to oblige, I knew Anna would make a great job of it as indeed she did...
Look at this.....
Anna is such a wonderful artist
I feel honoured to have William and Hamish
painted by her and produced onto Cards.
Pop on over to
THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED
and browse through all the wonderful
Cards and Gifts there.
(Many Thanks Anna for choosing William and Hamish to inspire you)

The weather was very changeable as you can see...threatening clouds didn't put us off though...

A lot of sand has moved from last Winter storms |
....and it's amazing what gets washed up! |
A certain lurcher seemed to have missed the only tree! |
Looking across towards Appledore on the far shore |
We found a few things along the way - that's apart from washed up tree stumps...
this little Hat for one that somebody had placed on a post -
no doubt in the hope it's owner's family would come back and find it.
The wildflowers are now going over, but they have been a blaze of colour |
...and the remains of a homemade raft! |
But this one lost glove gave the a bit of fun for a lurcher....

Random dot to dot
By chance I happened upon a new dot to dot game...
Using a Graphik line painter pen
I tapped it over a clean sheet of paper
and got DOTS...lots of dots
then looked for a picture in it.
I found this ...
or even this...
As I say, it was a RANDOM DOT TO DOT.

Perfect harmony
Isn't it great when man and dog are in perfect sync!
(seriously they don't always ignore one another)

St. Helens Isle of Wight
From countryside to seashore...
a short walk from where we stayed recently,
down to the Old Church at St. Helens
▲ that's an old fort out to sea on the horizon
then a walk back across an area known as the Duver -
made for a good afternoons stroll
William enjoyed his time on the beach too,
but then he always does.
