STUDIO HYDE Art - painting has always made me happy. Enjoying being Volunteer Artist-in-Residence at Arlington Court National Trust Devon
Great post, Ann! Thank you for reminding me of summer - I really needed that after a cold, wet November day.. :)Hugs!
It cheered me to remember these Summer days too :-)
and summer has slipped away...sigh!
I know, where DID it go!
How apropos! Castles in the UK! LOL (We just watched a show on the Smithsonian channel tonight about the many castles in the UK! Holy cow there are a lot!)
I know, think they built them to fend off invaders....doesn't seem to have worked though! lol. (They must have been cold draughty places, still are I guess) ;)
I am fascinated with tracks in the sand, especially paw prints for some reason, but we don't get any horse's hooves! It's nice to see kiddies handiwork they leave behind!
You're right, they are interesting....a sign down on the beach says 'Please leave only your footprints' (says it all doesn't it) :-)
