Found a lump of wood on the beach the other day

This one, must have been part of a palette, but we have a new use for it

After a bit of cleaning up, removing the nails
 and then sanding down

- Polished up with some briwax -

Then Graham got to work with a drill

Helped by his trusty assistant!

and a bit of sawdust later
I end up with

a

PAINT BRUSH STAND

fits in nicely

perfect job

- Thanks Graham and William -

Brilliant job. I used that Briwax original on the bedroom floor. Aren't the fumes dreadful!

What a great find, and I love that its been so perfectly repurposed! And I had no idea that William was a working dog!! ;-)

That is really clever, recycling at it's very best. You are so lucky to have a resident handyman and assistant :)

Graham spied this on the beach a couple of days before we retrieved it, so glad he saw it :)

Absolutely, I'm so pleased with it :)

It can be strong, but in small doses I quite like it, lol :)

Oh nothing gets past you Robin, ignore the paint brush, see the wine box, lol 😂

Well, the four legged handyman kept getting in the way, has to know exactly what's happening!! lol

I'm really pleased with the result, it's so useful :)
