That must have been a large tree before it was cut down. I hope it turns into something wonderful.

I just learned that word, bespoke. Interesting.

I'll bet whatever he carves will be amazing. You'll show us, right?

Amazing! Would love to know what he made. :)

Shammickite, they have cut down quite a few large trees there. About time too, it wasn't the best looking of garden/grounds to the place. We didn't get to speak to the chap doing the woodcarving, but I noticed on his van that his email ends .ca Wondered if this is for Canada?

Christine, they say we should learn something new every day, lol.

CJ, absolutely will do another blogpost. I might be able to get nearer to it for a photo, even if I have to sneak into the gardens there.

Judy, it was fascinating to watch him using the chainsaw. We will go back soon.

It'll be interesting to see the finished item, these chainsaw carvers are so skilled. We have a woodfest around here every year and it's fantastic to watch and see what they make.

Yes, he seems to have a Canadian Yahoo email address, I wonder why?

Eileen, I've seen these wood chainsaw carvers at the Devon County show, but you're lucky to have a woodfest in the area each year.

Shammickite, Yes, I wondered too!
