Sunday Sketches

It does sometimes happen, that I find myself without a sketchpad to hand....but you can usually find something to draw on.  Yesterday I found an old envelope in the car and just saw it as a piece of drawing paper.   Luckily I had a pen and my waterbrush in my bag, phew!    Although, only a very small sketch it is a reminder of a good day out and I'll be sticking this into a journal page for keeps.

Many thanks to Blue Chair Diary
for hosting Sunday Sketches

Lovely sketch, when inspiration strikes it's great to have any kind of paper around.

What ever works is what I say. I have done the same thing lots of times.. guess we need sketch books in every car or bag. Good job.

I love this - that you used whatever came to hand to draw on and the gorgeous little sketch you came up with. Stunning in its simplicity!

I think this is a great idea. I might start a little journal of sketches myself!
Happy SS.

What a cute landscape. It looks bigger in my mind's eye than it must be in real life!

Lovely! I like most this kind of small drawings created quite unexpectedly!
