I know. I wouldn't say I'm an owl person, but seeing this one, well it was quite special.

It IS adorable. What fun to see. I have yet to see an owl in person.. well in the wild that is.

Adorable! That’s one heck of a zoom! (I’m already contemplating a new camera! LOL Maybe I’ll get lucky and drop this one!)

..it was like meeting in person. I've been told it's a Tawny Owl, but whatever, it was nice to see :)

It was quite a surprise, seeing it in the 'daytime' in the tree.

Every time I go over to Arlington I'll be looking for it now, lol.

It is adorable Robin!...I probably don't use this camera to its full potential, but so long as I get shots like this I'm happy :)

Thanks annie! I guess there aren't too many owls where you are...well, at the moment that is, lol :)

Beautiful! Nice that you can zoom right in!
A neighbour told us there are owls on a nearby industrial estate. As we don't walk Annie there, I am determined to go soon and see for myself.

Hi Ann, I've just found some-ones youtube video but it's over a year old (I live in Kinmel Bay). Yes, this is on our industrial estate, I hope I am lucky enough to see the owls flying one day!

Hi Eileen, Thanks for the link. Wish I could have got a video of the Arlington one like that. It did fly off, but went the other side of the trees, so no chance with the camera.
