Another walk a few days ago and we drove round to Westward ho! Always good for a wander and it is nice seeing the various beach huts along the esplanade. Now mostly closed up for the Winter months. There was one I spied though with its door open and the owners still enjoying it this side of New Year...

What great photos you got. Love that little area. how fun to get to walk around it. Love that first photo especially and the birds on the rocks one too. How far from you is this place? Is it really called Westward Ho?? :)
Fantastic cottage, love these views.....the stripey ones are so fun. xox
Glad you enjoyed the visit Sue :)
Thanks Cris, yes it really is called Westward Ho! and is spelt with the exclamation after Ho as well.
Here's some info about it from Wikipedia:

Thanks Corrine :)
There's something so mesmerizing and calming about watching the ocean. Love all the shades of blue you captured.
The beach huts are aDORable! (But……the fourth picture down reminds me of a Forensic TV show I saw where a wealthy couple was murdered by their son! Their house looked EXACTLY liked that picture!)
Wonderful photos and really enjoyed hearing the rush of the sea in the video !
LOL - I'll always think of that poor couple now when I see these chalets! Mind you, had I done a 90 degree turn, there's a very old house that gives me the total spooks and I didn't photo it because it is SO awful...perhaps I'll force myself to photo it another time for you to see. On second thoughts here's the street view photo

what a lovely wee place- I do love beach huts - so cute and colourful. I love that the name actually has an exclamation mark in it!
I know, it is unusual with the ! isn't it.
Very creative painting on the beach huts....love them. The video is beautiful...do you live near the water?
Thanks Lori, yes we overlook the Atlantic :)
