This Summer there seem to have been quite a variety of jellyfish here.
I like the shape of this one, like a flower...
I thought this one looked a little grim....but unusual
I love the colour of this one....
that's it.
Hope you are all having
a very restful week-end.

I have zip knowledge of jellyfish, so pardon my ignorance, are they dying? they are beauties, dangerous?
What interesting yet beautiful jelly fish. Would you believe that I've never seen one...
They are already dead, because they aren't in the ocean any longer. This type are not dangerous, thankfully.
I guess that's because you live inland Kim ;)
They are surprisingly beautiful!
Is there such a thing as jellyfish envy? I think I have it! They're amazing!
They look like fancy plates.
I know...but I wouldn't want to meet one in the sea! lol.
....there wasn't, but there is now, lol ;)
Yes, they do....perhaps they are mermaid's plates, lol ;)
i've only ever seen the clear jellyfish. these are all so pretty!!
They are amazing :-)
Creepy organisms from an alien world..... taking over our minds... aaaarrgghh!
Wow #1 and 3 got my attention. Love your work. Not seeing you too much over at Paper, pens, sketch, watercolor.
Me neither. I just have too much on my plate right now. Plus I am suffering with a dandy cold from my Mini holiday with family.
LOL :-)
Thanks so much Carol Ann. I have been busy with some other things and haven't got around to PPP & P....hope to do some drawing for it later this week. Hope your cold is getting better.
They are very lovely. I do not think the Oregon Jellyfish are so nice. Maybe, I need to take a closer look.
Wyatt's Mom
I have noticed there are a lot of jellyfish on the beach this year, none as beautiful as yours. Ours are the clear common or garden variety :)
They are gorgeous.... never thought I would say that of jellyfish. :)
We are getting a lot of them this year...must be the warmer weather we have had :-)
We have been lucky with the weather Eileen...reckon that has brought them up on the gulf stream. *i think it's called that ;)
Lol....I know, I never thought I would be adding so many unusual ones :-)
Aren't they beautiful? I found a Portugese Man o' War on a beach in Cornwall once which was a bit worrying!
Eww! I remember seeing them years ago...hope we don't get any up here now that there seem to be an influx of them at the moment.
I visit the Washington coast a lot and we also have a lot of jellyfish right now, mostly small white/clear ones. In fact there are literally drifts of them on the shore in places, if you can imagine. But I have never seen such beautiful ones as you are showing here. So lovely.
