Wall Art with a difference

We came across some different wall art the other day.  This picture of a face was on a wall high up above the street on a building...

Not drawn or painted though, but Chipped out of the plaster work..

Very effective and striking.

Amazing. I expect it was hoisted up there somehow, I cant imagine the artist worked up there!

Yes, very creative, I liked it immediately.

Apparently the painting was put up there and the artist then chiselled out the design, amazing isn't it.

What an interesting method for creating art, I haven't seen that done before. I wonder who the young lady is... was she related to the artist? Or just created out of his imagination. Either way, I really like it. Where were you when you saw this?

Yes very different and striking. I need to find out who created this. It's in Exeter, the main street. :-)
