Over on Paper, Paint, Pencils & Pens the Theme at the moment is Sunrise Sunset. Thanks to Elaine Pang for the suggestion of this Theme and also for the use of her wonderful photograph. I've made use of it and painted this watercolour...
I did video the process ~ although I didn't voice over ~ instead I have made a publication through Issuu explaining the steps.

Dear Ann, what a wonderful video and so generous of you to show all the interesting teachniques! I really enjoyed it. You're far advanced from me regarding a digital machine use (*I'm hopeless!). I've come to know you're a genious, for you're "left handed"! Keep up wonderful posts and work. Best wishes, Sadami
Thanks for the demo, really wonderful! I love to see the scratching technique, I am not good at that. Maybe because I need to wait till the painting has dried a little?
The timing of scratching out is a tricky one Judy...I just have to have everything to hand in readiness and hope I don't get distracted! lol
Thanks so much Sadami. I forget that most people are right-handed, so seeing me drawing with my left-hand must seem very strange, lol :-)
beautiful work!
Thanks so much Christine :-)
Fascinating to watch you create. You make it look so easy!
Thanks Robin, that's because the paint does the work, especially with the wet-into-wet technique. :-)
Just popped over to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and found this lovely post and painting. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Laura. Here's wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too.
Wishing you and your family a merry christmas too! Sarah x
