Exactly ----and they were wiggling about too, yikes!...no idea what they would turn into 'monsters' probably, although possibly moths!

Gypsy moth caterpillars. Horrible things. They make that webby nest and everything inside the web dies. Out old apple trees used to get them a lot.
The woods always look so green and fresh at this time a year! Your creepy surprise is look quite so lovely! Sarah x
