Yes you guessed it, another National Trust property...

the ground floor rooms were interesting...

Although upstairs was taken over by displays of fashion over the ages...not so my thing, but thought I would add the pix...

I did like the cabinet with an art box in it though

The grounds were another matter...vast.....plus they had an art theme going every so often...

And this was a great idea...people could do their own drawing....I didnt though as I had my own sketchbook

'The pond'

To Berry Head....

Near Torbay on the South Coast,  having heard about it for years we happened upon it recently, so a walk across the cliffs was called for....

Now there are jellyfish and there are jellyfish....

We don't usually get more than a few at this time of year.....but for some reason we seem to have had a lot on our doorstep...

and they vary in size and colour too...

hang on a minute...this isn't a jellyfish....

 nor is this....

 believe me, the jellyfish were way off into the distance...

at the end of the Summer we usually get the windblown variety,
 we look forward to their arrival too....
