It is always a tricky thing to know what to add and what Not to add. I have a rule of thumb : The FIRST thing you see that interests you in a scene, is the Main Focus for your drawing. Hope that helps. (In fact you have given me my blog post for the Useful Tips blog today, thanks for that Emie) :)
I love these, especially the one with the boat. The colours of the scenery, then the splash of red in the boat are so perfect. You used the perfect red!

I love the looseness of these.... I tend to try and put a lot of details in where they aren't needed. I really love them. TFS

Thank you Judy, I like khadi paper but it needs A LOT of paint as it absorbs so well...still, that makes it more a challenge, lol :)
