Here are some recent paintings which I will be putting onto my Etsy shop in the next few days.
All of these are large paintings, not the small miniatures.
"The Tudor Farmhouse"
"White Cottage" - This was from a sketch of a cottage in Devon.
(being watched by a deer in a nearby field at the time - not included in the painting though)
This is already listed :
"Across the Fields"
9½" x 15" (24.13 x 38.1cm)

Oh Ann ... That first one is beautiful. They all are but that one really appeals to me.
Aww thank you so much :)
Yes, the first one really speaks to me, too. The atmosphere is very special. Angie Moore xxx
I love the first one as well. The roof is so well done. They are all wonderful though, Ann.
Thanks so much Angie :)
Thanks Marie, the first one is my fav. too as it happens. Looks like it gets voted top of the list :)
Ann...all of these are so wonderful, that it is impossible for me to choose just one! They are all winners! Nice to get "feedback" from your followers, isn't it? Always so helpful.
You capture the charm of the countryside so well
I must agree with all above...that first one speaks to many of us more than the others and the others are gorgeous!!!
For me, the first one is the sky and that beautiful Tudor Farmhouse!!!
They are beautiful!
Thanks CL, yes it is really important to get feedback from others :)
Thanks CJ :)
I enjoyed painting them all, but have to admit the roof on the first one was lots of juicy paint dropped wet into wet style...fun :)
Thanks so much Christine :)
These are gorgeous! Especially the Tudor farm house! ♥♥♥♥
I agree with your other commenters, all lovely but that first painting is just wonderful, I think the sky makes it extra special. Well done Ann.
Thanks Robin :)
Thanks Eileen :)
I really like your watercolour technique. I really haven't tried watercolours other than using a colour wash on my pen and ink sketches.... will post some pics soon. I wish you could give me some wc lessons, your paintings are very nice. Of course the subject of Devon cottages is very close to my heart!!! My art group has started up again for the year so perhaps I'll try some watercolours this time.
Thanks Shammickite. I have thought about doing some simple watercolour videos for folks who just want a starter for painting watercolours. If I can set up my camera suitably I'll give it a go, or do a step-by-step still photo instruction. Hope you do give watercolours a go because it is easier than a lot of people think.
