Graham was down on the beach with William and Hamish (Hamish told it off, what a brave little dog, mind you he didn't get anywhere near it, so perhaps Not so brave after all).
I thought you would like to see the photos Graham took.
Apparently, the best thing to do when you find a stranded seal,
is to leave them alone.
They rest until the tide comes back in
and then they swim out to sea again.

Awwww. Hope s/he makes it safely back to the sea.
When they are in the water, they like to play together with dogs when you throw a ball
What a great find. Let's home he makes it back to sea!
Aww bless it. I do hope it got back to sea safely and found it's seal family.
A selkie, perhaps? Hamish sounded like he wanted to make friends.
Seal seems very unimpressed by Hamish!
Poor thing, all he wants to do is take a nap and Hamish won't leave him alone! (BTW, where was William during all this?)
Yes, it did go back okay. The tide came in and eventually it decided to make for the depths :)
Oh that must be so wonderful to see :)
All okay thanks Marie :)
I hope it found its family too :)
Yes, Hamish was scared though. He sounded so brave, funny little dog.
Didn't seem bothered did it, lol :)
William was off down the beach, well out of the way of the scary creature, lol.
Awwww, I hope the poor thing is safe now.
Yes, it went safely back out to sea on the next tide 🙂
