It took a few goes on scrap paper to get my pen to loosen up and gain eye/hand co-ordination.
The speed with which people move sometimes amazes me. The best part is when they are standing at the counter, their attention is held for a few minutes, so they don't move away...ideal.
Anyway, enough chatter, here's some of the drawings.

Fabulous sketches, Ann! Must be so hard to capture the scenes so quickly, but you did an amazing job!
What a great idea, Ann. Great job too.
It was tricky at first Judy. I asked myself what was the most important things, the first thing I looked at. Then I focused my thoughts on that area. I did enjoy it immensely :)
Thanks so much Marie. It was a good afternoon there :)
Wonderful sketches! Reportage is difficult...people don't stay still long enough! lol ;)
TELL ME ABOUT IT!, lol....but I'm enjoying the challenge :)
I like those Ann, it must be a very difficult exercise to do but you did it well :)
Thanks Eileen - it takes a few minutes to get into the swing of things, but I really enjoyed it. Hope to do lots more over there.
I tried the same thing at the beach. Even though someone is standing at the water's edge, watching their children, it's surprising how much they move. Hardly time to get a pose down on paper. And I tried sketching the grandies too while they were on knees building sand forts.... got a few good sketches but it's very hard!
