For us it was a festive time walk at
HUNTERS INN AND A WALK DOWN TO HEDDON'S MOUTH
Google street view:
This time of year, you get to see more as the greenery of summer has gone. I think you 'notice' things,
like lichen
...and isn't there something about a river flowing
with Moss on the wall...it was gorgeous
I couldn't resist altering the above photo to black and white except for the orange dog...
We took the pathway to the left, the other one winds its way up and up and up...phew! ....another day for that walk...
Back at Hunter's Inn, with its peacocks, who are rarely on the ground, they seem to love an elevated view.
~ Definitely a good walk ~

Oh, you really know how to make me feel homesick doncha????? I've walked that walk down to Heddons Mouth many times, and would love to do it again, gorgeous, in any season. And I had a boyfriend many years ago who used to take me (on the back of his motorbike, don't tell my mum) to Hunters Inn and we would play billiards in the bar. Happy memories.
Lovely views and no snow! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Ann, thanks for the walk!
Looks a great walk, I enjoyed it with you.
Happy New Year
All the best Jan
I love that 'smilely face' in the river! And the moss on the wall is magnificent! Thanks for taking me along! I needed to get out today! ;)
Looks like you thoroughly enjoyed your Christmas walk. Loving the black and white photo with the stand out orange Hamish :)
