Discovering cottages, farms and a nice walk

It started with a bumpy drive ...(short video, it was too bumpy to film it any longer)

Well, not exactly at the Bay itself, but we were on the hills overlooking it

That's Portland in the distance

Then we wandered down across the fields and roadway
and track

Yes, as you see it was virtually through a farmyard.  Not a sole about, so we weren't disturbing anyone and the signposts did direct us that way...

Not far from the sea

We then found this...

On this occasion, we never did make it to the sea,
but that's for another blogpost,

and yes, I did a little painting....

I don't like narrow, bumpy lanes like that, lovely walk and views though. Interesting to see the remains of the the radar station.

The painting you did was exactly the photo I loved best!

Luckily that road was just up to the top of the hill, I am with you on narrow roads.

Aww Thanks Judy. Paintings are always more personal when you have been to see the place aren’t they.

Thanks Christine 🙂

I love that photo with that amazing house - the countryside is beautiful. We are always out also, finding new places to walk and houses to photograph. I wish I had a dog to take with me but my cat has to stay at home - she's lazy and undisciplined, lol.

Thanks Robin, yes it was a lovely place. We thought we knew all those little lanes, what a surprise it was.
