Lovely day for plein air painting

I set up my easel

at

Arlington Court

for a couple of hours.

That's it so far

As you see, I like to take all bar the kitchen sink with me!

Headed home to spend another couple of hours

doing the finishing touches to the painting.

(Will do a post of the completed artwork soon)

Painting is looking good so far!!! I'm heading to UK tomorrow, sadly not going to N Devon though, or even Romsey. Staying with my cousin in Suffolk, meeting up with another cousin from Australia, then going on a 12 day trip to Scotland with the local men's choir, the Men of Note. I'm taking a sketch book and camera with me. So will be posting lots of pics when I come back, be prepared!

Have a lovely trip, you certainly sound like it's going to be a busy one. Yes, get that sketchbook going. 🖌✍️✏️
