A recent walk in a local park and these magnolia trees were in full bloom, and together - side by side. Lovely how the flowers come out first.

Robin...wish we had been there a little earlier though, the light was fading when I took the photos.
Judy....such a lovely tree and it always amazes me how there are no leaves at this time.
There's a magnolia tree near my house, well, a bush really as it is very young, and the blooms are a divine lemony yellow! It's gorgeous! Isn't it funny that the flowers appear and then the leaves come later. It's as if the flowers want to show off their beauty, without being hidden by those pesky leaves.
