Exhibition

Exhibiting at the Exmoor National Park Centre in Lynmouth recently. Not only exhibiting but also setting up my easel and painting there. So much interest from visitors and its lovely to meet them and stop and chat.  Sold paintings too, so a win win for the Centre and means I can buy some more paints and canvases.

Well done for selling and for all the interest in your paintings. Lynmouth is lovely isn't it. I hope you took a ride on the cliff railway. I notice that the paintings shown in your photo don't have frames. How are they supported at the back? Are they the deep canvases.... I think they are called gallery canvases? Or the narrow ones. I like the look of a painting without a frame but sometimes a frame give a painting a fore finished look. Fenella

Hi Fenella, Just heard I have sold another big painting. Nice that they go to a new home, but also slightly sad I won’t see them again :( - although I can always paint another similar version (they are all individuals). The paintings shown here are all narrow canvases. I add eye-hooks and cord on the back, the display area has hooks to attach them to. I do frame sometimes, but find it better to leave that to the buyer, frames are such a personal choice :)
