I have now completed another two pages of my Sketchbook Project 2012 book, and have travelled around the coast a little further to Lee Bay.
This small village is home to about 100 homes.
Known locally as Fuchsia Valley because of all the wild fuchsia bushes growing along the lanes and hedgerows it is consequently very popular with holiday makers.
and hopefully next week I will be doing some more work on this project with a visit
to Ilfracombe........stay tuned

Wow! Fuchsia Valley. That's my favorite flower and I'm so glad you added them in the corner of your beautiful sketch. Really makes me want to visit there!
I have happy memories of the beach at Lee Bay, going there with my cousins from London and being a tourist with them! And I remember lots of thatched cottages. Very pretty place. You know how to make me homesick!
Better watch out Ann or you’ll have all your blog friends coming for a visit to your beautiful part of the world (me included)! LOL Another lovely page! Are you going to be able to part with it when it’s finished?
Hi All - what a lot of lovely comments.
You're right Robin I had thought of all the bloggers arriving - all at once probably would be too many in one go!! LOL.
Yes, it will be difficult to part with the sketchbook...but I just hope people will eventually look at it.

After holidaying at Woolacombe last year, and falling in love with the area, I fell in love with the surrounding area on a return visit this year.
I love your pictures of the area!
