That of
Volunteer Artist
something I have wanted to do and thought about for years, even whilst volunteering for the Trust over the last 5 years or so. There are so many lovely scenes over there that finally I decided to go for it and much to the delight of the staff at Arlington, I have now actually started painting the wonderful views there.
I'm going to Donate all the paintings I do to
Arlington for them to Sell, produce Prints etc.
My way of fund raising for them.

I absolutely loved my first session en plein air painting in front of the main house.
Gorgeous weather was a great bonus, if a little hot at one point,
but who am I to say, I had waited for good weather and it was on my side.
I'll do another blog post when I have completed the
painting in my studio.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.

OMG! You're FAMOUS!!!!! And I get to say I knew you 'when'!!! LOL What a lovely way to donate to the Trust. Yay for you!
What a great way to volunteer, Ann! Well done!
What a great initiative, sure it will go well for you!
Thanks CJ ๐
Famous! I hope not, I'm hiding behind the artwork!! ๐ฉ๐ป๐จ
Thanks Marie, my first en plain air session was great fun ๐จ
Thanks Christine, time will tell, but I'm off to a good start ๐
What a wonderful idea, to be a volunteer artist. I'm sure you will be a huge success. If you are painting outside, be prepared for lots of people hanging over your shoulder watching your every move and asking all sorts of silly questions!
Congratulations, that's wonderful news Ann!
Thanks Shammickite. Yes, I'm thinking too that people will stop to look at the art, but I don't mind that, will give paint time to dry whilst I talk to them, lol.
Thanks Eileen, I really enjoyed my first painting session :)
