Here's another Oil painting on the easel at the moment

I used a vivid green background, painted in acrylic and allowed to dry, so eventually some of that will show through on the finished painting.

Still a ways to go on this painting, but thought you may like to see a snippet of the

High speed brush work!!!! WOW!
Looking good. I haven't actually done a painting since around October but doing other stuff. Plus the family came to stay with me while they were between houses and there was no time to do anything relaxing.
I've been experimenting with a home made gelli plate.... have you ever tried printing with a gelli plates? I'm having so much fun and making lots of mess! I'll probably blog about it soon.

Hi Shammickite, I can understand how time is taken up with family and things. Painting time gets away from us all. Hope you get back to some painting soon, but the gelli plate is good fun. Yes, I've done some of this over the years, included in travel journalling.
