Oh Deer!

The other day we had a lovely walk over at Heddons Mouth.

We park near Hunter's Inn and, if you look at the image below, we walk along that small path

That takes the route towards the sea, but we turned off part way along and stayed in the woodland, eventually making our way back to the road, coming back out here

Throughout our walk we didn't see any wildlife, we know there are deer in the woods,
but not today, they were obviously social distancing!

I have to say we were delighted to have spotted
 this little sole
watching us in the field next to the lane

I'll zoom in...

and it watched us for a few minutes before making off, hopefully back to its family.

(If you click on the above image you will see how it watched us and then made off).

Awwww, I wonder if the wild creatures are confused by how the human's are acting lately....... :-/

Oh..... the walk from Hunter's Inn to Heddons Mouth, now you are really making me feel homesick! Last year we had considered a family holiday in the area for this summer, but now I'm glad we didn't go forward with the idea.

Robin.....Wildlife are venturing nearer, that’s for sure. In our village, a couple of deer were seen walking around....this was caught on camera....don’t know if this link will work for you, I hope it will..

Shammickite....thank goodness you didn’t book! Hopefully you will get over here in 2021.

That's amazing: deer in the streets! Looks like a wonderful walk!

Your link to Robin works, I hope the deer were safe from the traffic. It's happened in north Wales too, you've probably seen on the news the Great Orme goats taking over Llandudno town centre.

I think they're coming into towns to check on us and see if we're alright! LOL ;)

Judy, it is a lovely walk. We go over there fairly often, that was until the dreaded 'Lockdown'! Nice to get back there again.

Eileen....Thanks for letting me know that link works...💃💃💃 Yes, the deer were okay. There was so little traffic at that time, they made their way back up the hill. 🦌 - Yes, I saw that about the goats in Llandudno - amazing how animals sense an opportunity to roam 🐐

Robin...I thought that too, it was very kind of them don't you think! 🦌
