Eileen.....yes there had been loads of rain and more came down after this walk! The deluge caused flooding around this area, with some roads impassable! Things have settled down again now, hopefully.

This sort of scenery is very familiar to me, although I haven't actually walked in that area. Nice Exmoor ponies. We had a sort of vague family plan of visiting North Devon in 2020 but it's probably good that we didn't book anything. Maybe next year?????
