Canvases and Art panels don't prepare themselves,
and as much as I would love to be getting on with a painting right now,
I have to spend a bit of time in preparing them.
These panels ended up with 3 coats of gesso -
think that should do it!

Painting the gesso on is the easy bit. the next step is a lot harder!!!
I hope you are keeping safe and well. I have been keeping up with the news on the CM page... wow, lots of changes. So many things cancelled and shut, even the pubs! Crikey, it's a very strange and worrying time. I have been at home by myself since last Friday. Lots of art supplies here but I'm sadly lacking in inspiration right now. maybe it will come back.

Shammickite....good to know you're okay. Yes, they have finally decided to close pubs (although Wetherspoons were going to stay open!!! but that could have changed by now). The holiday centres also have closed. Although Ruda at Croyde was staying open, but their facilities would be closed. So people coming down this weekend would find no way of getting food there or going to the local pub instead, as that is closed! They will probably all trundle off to Braunton and the supermarket!!! Wish they would call a complete Lock-down situation here and be done with. The trouble is people are travelling here from goodness knows where and bringing the virus with them no doubt :( We're keeping out of the way as much as possible and trying to avoid people.
