Plein Air at Arlington

It's so nice to be back at Arlington Court doing some plein air painting.

There aren't as many visitors at the moment (the beer virus has changed a lot of things!)

Plus I'm corralled with my own invention of posts/tape to keep the social distancing issue clearly defined - I feel a bit like a zoo exhibit (shush now)

This painting is still a work-in-progress
and if you click the pic ↑ I've done a short video-clip  ðŸŽ¥
- heck you even get to see me briefly -

I'm glad you're back doing what you love in the place you love. Sensible to keep yourself safe. I like your video very much.

I was thinking the same thing about you being a 'zoo exhibit' when I watched the video. But now that you've explained that you did it yourself it doesn't seem so bad......LOL ;)

Eileen....yes, it is lovely to be back there. I'm not a "fair weather friend" but I did go for days when I knew it would at least be dry. The weather over there changes very quickly, it's on the edge of Exmoor and higher than this area. I remember Winters when there has been no snow around here, but over there about a foot deep! I'm sure at some point the weather will catch me out, but at least I'm doing Oils these days, it can rain on that without me rushing to pack away my painting, lol.

Robin...Didn't I just know you were thinking that! 🤣
