Have I told you this one...

....probably not, but I have kept meaning to.

Some of you, however, will have noticed, via other social media (aka: facebook), that I have a Youtube Channel.  Nothing dynamic, just me adding a few clips - and as they call them -  #shorts

If you are so inclined to take the occasional look at Youtube channels, perhaps you would like to

to my channel and remember to

Hit the Like

and the All on the Bell icon

this way you will get Notified when I upload something new

plus

it would help my channel tremendously.

Thanks so much!

My next blogpost:  I will add a list of channels that I watch,

you may like to follow them too!

Bye for now

So what happened

You may remember I posted about a plant in our garden last year  ...

Agave americana

Blogpost dated 26th July 2021

and with an update 5th August 2021.

Here are a couple of aerial photos taken by our daughter using her drone, looking down onto the very Top of the plant

We enjoyed seeing this grow and get taller and taller, reaching around 25ft.  Of course, we always knew it was doing this growing/flowering as a final farewell - they grow - they flower - they die off.

It was inevitable with storms that came in during November 2021, that we would lose the plant.  And sure enough we got up one morning to find it was Down!   Our surprise was that it hadn't snapped off, but instead, the whole plant had toppled over (thankfully still within our garden).

We got on and started clearing it up - knowing it would take several trips to the recycling centre to clear away completely

and No, it hadn't hit husband round the head ⬋

So bit, by bit, husband cut the plant
(I photographed...and helped by putting pieces of plant into various bins)

Click the image below for a 1min. video of husband getting to grips with this plant...and watch out for his surprise when he finally cuts through it!

The small plants you can see in the middle/lower part of the above image, are the baby ones, so they have been potted up.

It was a lovely plant - albeit spikey - and had taken years to grow, but was fun to see it grow the flower part.  Don't worry, even though we saved some of the baby ones, we do have a couple of others in our garden.

At Christmas, we got a nice surprise gift from our neighbours,
who had taken a photograph of the plant from their angle during a sunset.

Updated the blog…

… As if you haven’t noticed 🤣

I’ll explain.  For sometime now, ages, I couldn’t get the Sidebar to show up, no matter what I tried to do.

In the end I resorted to major tactics and restored to default settings, deciding that if I lost the lot, then at least I had tried…however… still nothing!… and not to be put off, I kept going.  Not sure what I did, but the sidebar appeared.  Hooray, whoop whoop.

I have plans to add additional content here.  Yes, there will be Art, it's what I do, but there will be other things as well.

Hope you stick around, and see you shortly.

Ummm…what’s going on here ⬆️

~ look out for the next blogpost ~

Busy adding paintings to my Etsy listings

I have been missing from here, yes I know, it has been a while.  Haven't been lazy though, I'm busy trying to add more Listings to my Etsy shop.  Hope this doesn't bore you, but I know some people following don't do a lot of social media and prefer to keep things easy with blog posts.

So, enough talk...here are some of my latest Etsy shop items...

There are some paintings that I have re-listed,
my theory is that if they aren't available
how can someone buy them!
